Pacquiao vs. Clottey.....Pacman vs. Grandmaster

Guys here we go again. I am sure Manila's street tomorrow will be open wide and your ordinary 1 - 2 hour traffic will be reduce to 5 - 10 minutes. It has always been like this since Philippines's "Pambansang Kamao" (National Fist) has given glory to the country through boxing.

Pacman's coach, Freddie Roach, remark that this fight be go to the score cards and then retracted it saying it won't last to 9 rounds upon seeing Pacquiao's ultimate weapon for Clottey. Well little is known about Clottey or should I say "I know little about Clottey."

Clottey is origianlly from Ghana and now lives in Bronx, NY. He is welterweight boxer and have a record of 35-3-0 of which 20 are KO. Has a solid defense and a combination of size, speed, stamina, boxing skills, power, and chin. Clottey has top defensive skills; the way he uses his gloves and arms to protect himself from his opponent's punches is very similar to Winky Wright's defensive stance.

One of my co-worker's comment is that Pacquiao might loose. The height of his career has already begun and as he said all things that go up must some point in time will go down. The size of Clottey might be Pacquiao's big hindrance and as some observers commented, Clottey is a like Pacman himself in his speed and toughness. Clottey had this big break to fight the world's considered best pound-per-pound boxer when the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight did not materialize.

Tomorrow will be the fight and all boxing fans will be glued in to their plasma tv to see weather Clottey has it takes to be the boxer to stop Pacquiao's career or will this fight be the proof of Pacquiao's dominance in boxing.

Hatton Annihilated!!!!!

Our very own Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao defeated the Hitman in the second round of their fight in Las Vegas.

Hatton was stunned in the first round when the Pacman knocked him out. As I have seen in the wide screen of the fight being shown in Marriott Hotel here in Guam, Hatton was disoriented on that KO thus he has lost his focus in the fight.

Predictions is that Manny will knock Hatton on the 6-8 round but everyone was surprised on the 2nd round knockout. Manny's skill and power with coach Freddie Roach's guidance has made Team Pacquiao win another title.

As was announced during the after fight interview, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is now the no. 1 boxer. Bob Arum of Top Rank even commented that Manny is a learning athlete. That in time Manny will be known as the greatest boxer of all time due to his humble and passion for boxing.Manny thank all his supporters who came to see his fight amidst the A(H1N1) virus scare, he thank the Filipino people who has been supporting him for all his fights, and to all boxing fans who keeps the sport one of the most popular sport in the world.

Also commented during the fight is Manny's religiosity. Before going in to the fight Manny knelt down to say his usual prayer. It is his way of showing to the world that there is nothing impossible in God.

Pacman vs. Hatton

May 3 will be the day.

We Filipinos have long waited for another of our very own Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's fight. This time he will face the Hitman from UK, Ricky Hatton.

Some boxing aficionados predict that this fight will be bloody. These two fighters have been known for their endurance and strength, thus many say that this fight will be bloody.

The event will be in Las Vegas. Though there are issues with the A(H1N1) virus scare, fight organizers made sure that such venue is well monitored for possible contamination. But besides that all will be a rumble.

We cheer for you Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, Philippines's Pambansang Kamao!
